Moosilauke Ravine Lodge Directions

From Hanover

From the Hanover Green head West on Wheelock St, towards Vermont. After about 1 mile, turn right onto the ramp to I-91 North

After about 16.5 miles, take exit 15 and turn right at the bottom of the off ramp. Continue for a few hundred feet, then turn left onto Rt. 5 at the stop light. After 0.5 miles, turn right onto 25A and cross the river back into New Hampshire. Turn right at the tee to follow 25A, and then turn left after 0.3 miles to stay on 25A

After 14.7 miles (passing through the town of Orfordville early on), turn left onto Route 25/Route 118 North at the flashing light.

After 4.8 miles (passing through the towns of Wentworth and Warren), turn right on Route 118 North (it diverges from Route 25 North here).

After 5.8 miles (winding uphill), turn left on Ravine Road.

Drive all the way to the end of the road (stay to the right at the access road turn-off) and reverse direction in the turn-around. Drive back down and find a parking space on the right side of the road (the western downhill side, closest to the Lodge and Mount Moosilauke). Make sure there’s room for buses to pass. Do not park in the turn-around!

Total driving time from Hanover, approximately one hour.

Alternatively, you could take Route 10 North from Hanover. After 10.5 miles, pass through the town of Lyme and stay on Route 10 North (turns right after a small school, then left again at the church). After another 7.1 miles, turn right onto Route 25A East. After 14.7 miles you will reach the flashing light mentioned above, and can follow the same directions from then on.

From Boston

From Boston, take I-93 North.

After about two hours, get off at Exit 32 for Lincoln, New Hampshire, and turn RIGHT onto Route 112 West (the ramp turns you around to face back south, so turning right takes you west).

After 3 miles (passing through the town of North Woodstock), turn LEFT on Route 118 South (it’s easy to miss — if you pass the Beaver Brook parking lot or the Lost River Valley Campground, you’ve gone too far!).

After 7.2 miles (winding uphill then starting down the other side), turn RIGHT onto Ravine Road.

Total driving time from Boston, approximately 2.5 hours.
