Basic Info

2020 Season

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, the Moosilauke Ravine Lodge will be closed at least until September 1, 2020. We are not taking reservations for Fall 2020 at this time.

The Gorge Brook, Carriage Road, and Ridge Trails are currently open, and are accessible from the winter parking area located on Ravine Road (~0.75mi from the Lodge). Please note the signs that this parking area is for head in, angled parking only. Improperly parked cars may be ticketed. We kindly request that hikers be courteous to the trails, remembering to keep off the fragile alpine vegetation, carry out all trash, and practice good social distancing.

Overnight Lodging

Only Dartmouth students (including graduate students and Dartmouth Medical School students) are eligible for student rates.

Midweek discount, Sunday through Thursday nights: $5.00 off Regular and Child (12 and under) rates. No midweek discount for students.

Bunks have mattresses and pillows; pillowcases and wool blankets are available at the desk free of charge. We recommend bringing your own sleeping bag for your comfort and convenience. Sleeping bag rentals are available for $8.

Availability

This spreadsheet shows rough availability for dinner and lodging. Yellow means close to full and red means either full or unavailable that night. We do keep a waitlist, so feel free to let us know if you'd like to be notified in the event of cancellations.

Accessibility

The main Lodge is an ADA-compliant facility, with an elevator connecting all three floors and an accessible bathroom, shower, and bunkroom located on the main level. For guests with accessibility concerns, please follow the signs on Ravine Road down the lower fork of the service road to our accessible parking area. This is located in front of our workshop, and is ~50 feet away from the dining room entrance along a packed gravel and stone path. Guests with accessibility concerns are also welcome to temporarily park in front of the lower level library doors (directly in front of the lower level entrance to the Lodge, on a flat stone slab surface), though we ask that this space is used for drop-off only so as not to impede service road access by other vehicles. If you have any questions, please contact the Lodge via phone or email, and we would be happy to provide further details for you!
