Looking to have a unique team-building experience? An exciting challenge? Join us for an orienteering course in and around Storrs Pond! Using a compass and map, groups navigate their way around a scavenger hunt like course throughout the recreational area. With a beautiful trail system surrounding the pond, groups will get to experience on and off-trail navigating, and rafting if the course permits. No experience with orienteering? No problem! We teach you everything you need to know before starting off on your excursion. We offer a variety of orienteering courses to accommodate all types of groups.
We also have two permanent (seasonal in the warmer months) courses that can be used by anyone. The maps can be downloaded here when available.
