Free to Dartmouth undergraduate students

2022 Season: Overnight and meals are free to undergraduate students who make individual reservations.

Fall 2022 Update: Due to higher than ever demand, we are currently taking reservations from the public to a waitlist for the rest of the Fall 2022 Season. We hope to be able to allow guests in off the waitlist, particularly for week day requests. Call today to add your name to the waitlist for you day(s) of preference. Thanks for your understanding.

Only Dartmouth students (including graduate students and Dartmouth Medical School students) are eligible for student rates.

Midweek discount, Sunday through Thursday nights: $5.00 off Regular and Child (12 and under) rates. No midweek discount for students.

Overnight Lodging Student DOC Member Dart. Student* Regular Child
Lodge or Bunkhouse $5 $14.00 $45.00 $35.00

Lodge beds are in the main building and have showers and toilets down the hall. Bunkhouses use bathrooms in the Lodge or composting toilet facilities. Bunk rooms generally sleep four, five, six, seven, or fourteen. Unless your party has booked a room to capacity, plan on sharing the room with another party on weekends and during busy periods. Bunks have mattresses and pillows; pillowcases and wool blankets are available at the desk free of charge. We recommend bringing your own sleeping bag for your comfort and convenience. Sleeping bag or linen rentals are available for $8.

The Lodge is closed to overnight guests on Monday and Tuesday nights in the Spring.

*Dartmouth student overnight rates apply to current students at any of the graduate schools and Dartmouth undergraduates groups.

Availability

This spreadsheet shows rough availability for dinner and lodging. A night marked with green means there is plenty of space, with yellow, orange, and red all signifying declining availability. Dark gray signifies a night when we are fully booked, reserved for a private event, or closed. We generally have more lodging availability than we do for meals, so unless we are closed or reserved, feel free to give us a call if you wish to just spend the night! We also keep a waitlist, so please let us know if you'd like to be notified in the event of cancellations.

Please note: we do our best to keep this spreadsheet updated, but it may not always reflect real-time availability.

Accessibility

The main Lodge is an ADA-compliant facility, with an elevator connecting all three floors and an accessible bathroom, shower, and bunkroom located on the main level. For guests with accessibility concerns, please follow the signs on Ravine Road for "Step-Free Access," driving down the lower fork of the service road and up to the front of the Lodge, to our accessible parking area. This is located in front of our workshop, and is ~50 feet away from the dining room entrance along a packed gravel and stone path. Guests with accessibility concerns are also welcome to temporarily park in front of the lower level library doors (directly in front of the lower level entrance to the Lodge, on a flat stone slab surface), though we ask that this space is used for drop-off only so as not to impede service road access by other vehicles. If you have any questions, please contact the Lodge via phone or email, and we would be happy to provide further details for you!
