2025 Winter Activities Update

Join the OPO every Saturday from 12-5pm at the DOC House for Winter Fun Days!

Depending on weather and conditions, we will open Occom Pond for skating. The pond is currently: CLOSED.

Additionally, the ice rink on Dartmouth Green will be open in January for skating from 9 a.m. to sunset, or until 9 p.m., if the lights are on. The signs by the rink will have the most up to date open/closed status.

Dartmouth Outing Club

The Dartmouth Outing Club (DOC) has over 1,500 student members (about a quarter of the College’s student population), and about as many non-student members, making it (to our knowledge) the largest collegiate outing club in the nation (as well as the first). The DOC is organized as an umbrella organization for about a dozen member clubs, which each specialize in an aspect of outdoor recreation.
