The DOC and Outdoor Programs now have financial aid for almost all of their programs and offerings.

Financial Aid for the Outdoor Experience

Outdoor Programs and the Dartmouth Outing Club sponsor numerous trips, trainings and workshops throughout the year. Thanks to support from the President's Office for a pilot program financial aid is available starting this Spring Break 2014. You must be receiving scholarship from the College and a DOC member (although this is also discounted) to take advantage of this program, and funding is available for the following list of activities/programs:

To find out more about this new program contact Kathy Decato, Financial Coordinator of Outdoor Programs in Robinson Hall, room 114, or by calling 603-646-2830 (office hours M-F from 10 a.m. – noon and 1:30 – 3:30 p.m.). Contact clubs or OPO staff for more information on current programs. Financial aid will be available for activities/programs costing more than $10.

  1. How do I sign up? Contact Kathy Decato in Robo rm. 114 or by calling 603-646-2830
  2. How much aid am I eligible for? Decided by your level of need as determined by the Financial Aid Office: 30%, 55% or 70%.
  3. What do I need to do when I sign up for an activity, rent gear, or reserve a cabin? Show your DOC membership card.
  4. Is my financial aid information confidential? Yes.
  5. What if I forget my DOC membership card? It may take longer to receive the aid.
