All Trips Volunteers are required to complete the Outdoor Programs Office leadership seminars. This training includes both a Google Classroom and in-person component, the dates for which can be found here. 

Trip Leaders must complete one full-day, off-site training at the Dartmouth Skiway that includes backcountry skills, group dynamics, peer leadership, incident prevention and response, and more. For the 26X term, these trainings will occur on July 12, August 8, August 9 and are available on Trailhead. The day before leaving for their Trip, TLs must complete a "Day 0" training to refresh learned skills, review final logistics, and finalize preparations before welcoming incoming students.
